**Cricket Makes Historic Debut in the United States with T20 World Cup Kickoff**

Cricket enthusiasts are in for a treat as the sport ventures into uncharted territory with the commencement of the T20 World Cup in the United States. Additionally, the growth of interest in cricket, particularly the T20 format, bodes well for initiatives like Major League Cricket, launched last year.

Beyond the American market, the expanded tournament provides opportunities for emerging cricket nations to shine on the global stage. Debutants like the USA, Canada, and Uganda, along with other newer cricket nations such as Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and Oman, aim to make their mark and garner attention with stellar performances.

With teams divided into four groups, each vying for the top two spots to advance, the tournament promises intense competition.
